My name is Tracie Wilson and the idea of Picklepops came to me when I realised that almost all outdoor clothing and accessories were plain boring colours. As I had been to college and learnt all about fashion design and manufacture, I decided to put a splash of colour into the market and designed my Welly Sox and matching Toastie Tubes in a range of bright fun designs. That was almost ten years ago now and my business has expanded to selling a larger range of products.

My amazingly talented sister, Vicki from Giraffe Studio, helped with my logo design and my fabulous brother-in-law Stuart, helped with the photography.

I have two gorgeous daughters, Tegan Daisy and Emillie Rose, who inspired me to launch Picklepops and with the help of their friends giving vital feedback during the design process, it has resulted in high quality, extremely comfortable Welly Sox and Toastie Tubes. Now my eldest is studying Art and Design A-levels and my youngest is studying Photography for GCSE and I couldn't be more proud.

I work as a part-time Teaching Assistant in a local primary school, which I absolutely love. I also run an Art Club and have started painting murals around the school. The rest of my time is being a mum, working my two springers, Maisie and Plug, and selling my Picklepops products to my many very satisfied (and warm) customers.

My first ever customer has only just had to replace her Rainbow Welly Sox, which she wore every day when she walked her dog. They have lasted her 8 strong and warm years which is proof that my Welly Sox wash and wear extremely well.
